Set a timer for two to five minutes, and begin to write with your non dominant hand. Start with: "I don't want to write about....I want to remember”...or a description of the day. Keep writing until the timer rings. - Marie Howe
I would've never thought to do this – ever. It's never a thought in my mind to write with my left hand. But seeing my handwriting on page looks so identical to how I wrote as a toddler. It's as though the child in me is speaking through my left side. And it's no surprise I chose childhood memories. [I'm also watching chief of war – review coming soon.] Fifth grade was one of thee most happiest times of my childhood. All I can remember is being happy. Which is probably a testament of the serene energy radiating off the islands themselves. There was so much joy surrounding me when I lived there. To this day, it's hard to describe that one short year that continues to impact me as a grown adult.
